My experiences while traveling with men on business

Mostly very good. I’m lucky. I often worked and even now, work with very intelligent men, who are great at their jobs and who appreciate similar life values as me. I also think that I do my job well, most likely because I enjoy it so much. I found a profession, where I can use my knowledge and strong suits. We appreciate and complement each other in our work collective. We don’t compete, because we know that we can handle more things together and that disputes would destroy our outcomes. I am speaking about the current firm, which I lead. Each one of us is aware of the role, which we play, because that particular role is our strong suit.

Also, I always made use of my feminine attributes. Apart from always learning and completing my expertise, I take care of myself. Making sure that I look good so that I can radiate energy and self-confidence. I like to dress beautifully as well as womanly. I try to be authentic and admit my mistakes. I don’t try to assert myself into areas that are not my strong suits. I ask for feedback and thus expect it from my surroundings.

And primarily, nature has given me a sense of humor, which I use to make some problems easier, as well as to solve these problems. Both men and women appreciate this.

I dealt with an issue with my friend, the actress, Milena Steinmajsslová. The issue of how to push one’s self forward in a debate, where there is only one woman among a group of men. She advised me to watch a mainstream, American TV show, which tends to be educational. This one was about one law agency. She showed me a specific woman - how she was neat, she spoke little, but she always added something to the conversations and spoke for an appropriate amount of time. She told me: “Let the men say what they want to say. Let them put on a show. You will then end things with something smart, factual, clearly spoken, slow and not said with a high voice.” It works! But it takes practice. :)
