What does it mean - “use what is coming”?

It means to be open to changes and new opportunities. And to also be ready. Don’t cling with all your strength to something that you’ve planned. Maybe something will come along, something that never even occurred to you. Something that can fulfill and satisfy you. Maybe we aren’t even exactly sure what we want. What would satisfy us the most...

Or maybe we are just fulfilling something that someone else planned for us.

I have such an experience of my own. I wanted to be a physician and the day before submitting my application to medical school, I allowed myself to be talked out of it by my family and I applied to study technical biology. I really enjoyed the studying, but after school ended, I discovered that working in a lab isn’t correct for my nature. I missed working around people. I didn't have an exact picture of what my future would look like. I wanted to use my education and also have flexible work hours. This is the reason why I accepted the offer to work as a representative of a pharmaceutical company and that then led me to where I am today.

I am happy and I don’t regret any changes that were made to my original plans.
